# Setting Up Notifications

Crush notifies you when something worth your attention happens — a fresh signal, news on a market you follow, or one of your positions resolving. You choose exactly which.

## Steps

1. Open **Settings → Notifications**.
2. Allow push notifications when your phone asks (you can revisit this in your phone's settings later).
3. Choose what you want to hear about:
   * **New signals** — setup cards matching your markets
   * **News** — items from your filtered feed (see [customizing your news feed](/documentation/features/step-by-step-tutorial/customizing-news-feed.md))
   * **Your trades** — fills, targets hit, stops triggered, positions resolved
4. Save. Changes apply immediately.

## Good to know

* Notifications are **opt-in by type** — you'll never be spammed into muting the whole app.
* Signal notifications respect freshness: you're pinged while a signal is live, not after it has expired.
