# Funding Your Account

Your Crush balance lives in an account that only you control. Adding funds takes a few minutes.

## Steps

1. Open your **balance page** and tap **Deposit**.
2. Follow the deposit instructions shown in the app for your preferred funding method.
3. Send the amount you want to fund. Start small the first time; you can always add more.
4. Funds typically arrive within a few minutes. Your balance updates automatically, and you're ready to trade.

## Good to know

* **Follow the in-app instructions exactly** — the deposit screen always shows the current, correct details for your account.
* **Test first.** For a first deposit, sending a small test amount before the full amount is never a bad idea.
* **Withdrawals are yours.** The same page handles withdrawals, any time — no lockups, no permission needed.
